Abstract

The aim of the study is to synthesis the arrowroot mediated selenium nanoparticles(SeNPs) and further find its characterization. The field of nanotechnology is araising fast with its applications in science and technology to manufacture new things. Nowadays, nano things are called as the wonder of medicine. The production of SeNPs is now emerging worldwide.

The characterization of nanoparticles deals with the characterization of the physical and chemical properties of nanoparticles. Selenium nanoparticles are synthesized using Arrowroot and it is characterized using Transmission electron microscopy and UV-vis spectroscopy. The results are found as the shape is rod-shaped and the size is 200 nm. Hence, the nanosized of arrowroot mediated nanoparticles have many uses in modern technology and it also has high medicinal value.
