Abstract

Migration has always been a challenge for European countries and a target for many Arab refugees and migrants. While the concept of integration aims to ensure social cohesion through the hospitality of diversity, which is understood as a two-way process. Immigrants must accept the laws and basic values of European societies and, on the other hand, host societies must respect the dignity and distinct identity of immigrants and take them into account when drawing up internal policies. Integration therefore concerns both parties: immigrants and the host society. The current study focuses on a particular intercultural issue related to the social integration of Arab migrants and refugees, specifically the issue of language in relation to European societies. We'll research the idea and how it's viewed as an intercultural trait in relation to migration and refugees. We'll examine its value, potential, impact on various societies, and contribution to the social integration of immigrants and refugees. Arabic is crucial to this research because it is the language used to transmit Arab culture over the centuries and between generations, as well as being important for Arab migrants and refugees. Additionally, it serves as a communication and gathering point for Arabs. As the majority of refugees and immigrants originate from Arab and Muslim nations, which speak many languages, the study of language is vast and complex, but it should be highlighted due to its significance in social integration.
